And We're Back Home!

 The girls were thrilled to jump right into VBS the day after we returned from the beach.
This was Geneva's first year in the morning, and Maddie's first year going to nighttime VBS!
They both LOVED it.

 We played some croquet on the lawn!

 We enjoyed a summer stroll in Clifton and night out to dinner with my parents before they left.

The girls love their individual time with Mimi. 

 We miss you! Thanks for coming and all you did to care for us! We love you.

Happy 12th Anniversary Jesse!

  We celebrated our 12th anniversary in OBX this year. We had a fun day taking a hike, going out for milkshakes, and walking on the beach.

 So thankful for each day with this guy.

 Poor little Savannah had the stomach bug this day. She kinda just laid low.

   It's a joy to be Jesse's wife. I love every part of life by his side.

Surfing Lessons!

 Mimi and Papa gave Maddie and Charis a surf lesson for their birthday! We had such a fun time watching the girls learn to catch a wave.

Hatteras and Ocracoke

We drove about an hour to Hatteras and found some beautiful shells not he beach.

Then we climbed the lighthouse- super interesting that this lighthouse was moved due to the changing shoreline from storms.

 

     

 From there we went to Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum.

 Then we took a ferry ride to Ocracoke.

 Maddie fed the birds :)

 

We enjoyed the lovely sunset that evening!
